Marriage is a holy ceremony which binds two souls, that is what we have heard. The actual concept of marriage is different in many cultures.

In Ancient Egyptian culture marriage was viewed as a special relationship between the male and female where the marriage is encouraged between the same blood that is between brother and sister which leaves the concentration of the wealth in the family itself.

Hebrew has a different system as they have restrictions on marriage, whom to and whom not to get married.

In Europe marriage ceremony is performed by capturing the spouse.

Marriage was a contract where brides were be bided and bought for a particular period of time in Babylon.

Greek culture is very stringent about the extramarital affairs of spouses.

Founders of Rome has respect for marriage but many men use to capture the tribal woman of Sabine and rape them.
