Highest Bridges in the World

A bridge is a human made structure which is made or built to cover gaps and obstacles like a valley or a water body. It serves the purpose of connecting these gaps so that humans can cross over. Some of these bridges have been made in some such unexpected terrains and settings that it is hard to believe that construction could take place at those places.

Infact there are places where bridges have been made at extreme heights which in some cases extend over thousands of feet. The following is a list of the highest bridges in the world:

Sidu River Bridge is the highest bridge to be ever built by man and it is as high as 1627 feet. This bridge is located in China. Baluarte Bridge in Mexico is the second highest bridge in the world as it is made at a height of 1322 feet.

Constructed at a height of 1289 feet, Hegigio Gorge Pipeline Bridge in Papua New Guinea is another highest of bridges followed by Baling River Bridge in China, Beipanjiang river 2003 bridge in China and Aizhai Bridge which too is located in China. Beipanjiang river 2009 bridge is made at a height of 1043 feet and is also on this list of the highest bridges in the world.
