Human kind has always been curious about what lies beyond the earth’s orbit. And it is this curiosity that has motivated them to create stories that involve various intergalactic as well as futuristic characters and props. Teleporters, laser throwing beam guns, and various other have always features exclusively in these epic books and movies.
But would it not come as a big surprise for sci-fi fans there are some of these weapons or props that have actually been made into real usable items. For example, the tricoder from Star Wars that supposedly collected data on the health of a person by scanning his body, is now actually a reality, created by GE and named the GE scan.
