Twitter users are more connected to the Google in comparison to Yahoo. Though these both search engine giants have huge reputation among the internet users, but Google dominates Yahoo on Twitter.

On their respective Twitter accounts, Google takes a lead over Yahoo with total followers of 7 million while Yahoo is followed by only 842 k people on Twitter.
On a whole, Google gets more mentions when compared to Yahoo and it even leads Yahoo in number of mentions per tweet. As per the infographic, Google has 1578.7 mentions and with relative to its tweet volume, Yahoo account has only 155.2 mentions.
Though Google and Yahoo have large user base and each company has a strong presence over the micro blogging world and the virtual world, where in users visit these search engines to get latest news and get results for their search queries to acquire required information.
When it comes to tweet timing, most of the Google followers show interest on composing more tweets on Wednesday where as Yahoo’s Twitter followers compose more tweets on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
