FIVB (Fédération Internationale de Volleyball) is an organization that has taken the responsibility for promoting the volleyball and hence is also responsible for organizing volleyball sports events most of which are annual events in nature.
FIVB is principally a governing body that works in close association with the private enterprises and national federations in order to develop volleyball and beach volleyball as a major entertainment and world media sport by planning and organizing development activities, marketing strategies and competitions on the global level.
FIVB is basically a vital component of Olympic movement and is responsible for contributing to the success of the world renowned Olympic games to a great extent.
Like every year, in 2013 also, FIVB has come up with an exciting schedule of the games and the game calendar for the year. The calendar is divided into three sections named Pool A, Pool B and Pool C.
The whole schedule is evenly divided into these three pools. Each set of games under each pool will be hosted by different countries over the globe and matches will be played between May 2013 - July 2013.
