There are several ways in which fatal injuries occur out of which 39% are transportation accidents, 18% fatal injuries are personal assaults and violence, 16% workers die by getting contact with material and equipment used at the work place, 14% get fatally injured by falling from roof or ladder and 9% workers die due to exposure to the harmful substances and radioactive material.

when it comes to age group, every year 3.5% of individuals aged about 16 – 17 become mortal and the highest percentage of 11.5 is recorded among the age group of 65 years and above. When compared by gender, Fatal injuries is more among men when compared to women.
