The first thing that people think about when they hear of Russia is of course Leo Tolstoy and may be there would also be some who would think of Stalin and Lenin but mostly it would be all the fairytales and the snowcapped mountains that the word Russia brings to mind.
But there are certain things about this very beautiful country that not many people know about. For example, where almost everywhere in the world, wedding rings are word on the left hand for both the groom and the bride, in Russia, they wear it on their right hands.
Also, carrying even number of flowers in her bouquet is considered bad luck for the bride which is why, it is suggested that you should always carry or gift a bouquet with odd number of flowers at weddings.
