Tool Advisor, a software comparator for french SMBs owner and manager who provide analysis, advices and guides, analysed 228 softwares from 14 categories to find out which ones had increased their prices the most.
Tool Advisor compared prices based on several criteria :
- Software category (project management software, accounting software, emailing software, social media management software and more than 14 categories).
- Country where the software is based (France, US, England, Germany, Italy, Canada).
- Funds raised.
- Type of subscription : Cheapest or "most popular subscription"
Tool Advisor also looked at which increase strategy was most used between an increase to new clients only or to all clients.
Key figures :
- 36.84% of SaaS increased their prices.
- The average increase is 6.14%.
- Expense management software is the category of software with the biggest increase.
