With over one million volunteers and more than 2.7 Million youth members, the Eagle Scout's is the highest rank attainable in the Boys Scouting Program. In 2012 alone more than 57 thousand scouts have been known to have earned the eagle scout rank and receiving it is not just a matter of pride but also of honor.
The Eagle Scouts are mostly engaged in activities of community contribution in the form of clean ups, food collection and distribution, conservation projects as well as military support and appreciation.
Of all the boy scouts, only 4% have been chosen as Eagle scouts who have been able to meet the necessary requirements for receiving the eagle scout award.
