While 88% of consumers report they love reading traditional paperback books, just as many also enjoy reading digital books due to the ease of access and convenience.
From 2017 through the present day, consumer consumption of digital books has increased tenfold, a trend that will continue as these eco-friendly mediums replace the paperback books of yesteryear. In 2019, more than 25% of US consumers polled read a digital book, a number that is expected to surpass 30% or more in the years to come.
