American Football, Rugby and Australian football may sound like the various names of the same game but in actuality, there are three very different games that might be similar in very minutes ways only.
In American football, the length of the field is 110 meters by 49 meters and is played by 11 players with unlimited substitutes but in rugby, not only is the ball different but the length of the field is slightly smaller in length but wider at 100 meters by 70 meters and is played by 15 players with only 7 substitutes allowed.
Quite unlike these, Australian football is played in an oval field the length of which varies between 130 meters to 185 meters and has a width of 110 meters to 155 meters and is played by 18 players which allows for only 3 substitutes.
