After a long gap of four years, the India Pakistan series has been finalized by the BCCI that is to be commenced from 25th December in India. Apart from this international series, for first time in the history of Ashes there will be two back to back Ashes series hosted by England and Australia during the months July – August and November – December for the year 2013.
In the year 2013, more number of domestic and international matches will be played in the month of January at different venues. Several series that are to be played among international teams in January includes England tour of India 2012, Big Bash league 2012 – 2013, Sri Lanka tour of Australia, Pakistan tour of Zimbabwe and Pakistan tour of India 2012 – 2013 .
