Like many people around the globe, most Americans seem to have no idea what actually the cloud computing is! Very often, the people misunderstand the meaning of cloud computing because of the word 'Cloud' in its prefix. In fact, it has nothing to do with sky. Let's see how many people know about this innovative data storage method.
A new survey claims that 54% of participants say they hardly ever or never used the cloud computing, while only 16% of them think of it is a network to store, access and share data from internet connected devices. That means very few are aware of the meaning of the new system of storage.
Interestingly, 51% of surveyed believe that the weather could affect cloud computing, while 22% of people said they had pretended to understand how the cloud works. Similarly 17% of people have to pretend to understand it on a date. However, most people said they could work from home and interact with people that they do not know.
