Comparing U.S. Food and Product Prices to the Rest of the World

Food and product prices vary greatly around the world. The United States is often looked at as land of abundance, but the country doesn’t always have the lowest prices. Have you ever wondered how much a Domino’s pizza costs in other parts of the world? What about basics like milk or rice?

The following graphic from TitleMax.com compares the prices of common foods and popular products in the United States to countries that have the highest and lowest prices for these items around the world. For instance, one dozen eggs in the United States costs on average $2.67. In Lebanon, a dozen eggs can cost up to $7.86, while in Iran they cost just $0.95. On the other end of the spectrum, the United States has the lowest cost for a new iPhone 12 at $829, while the same phone in Argentina costs $2,249!

Which countries’ prices are most surprising to you?
