There are various cities all around the world that will their holiday decorations and spirit could even give the North Pole a competition. London for example, is all decked up in the spirit of Christmas during the holiday season and holds quite a few Guinness records in connection to Christmas, the first of which came in 2007 for the largest stoking in the world while the next came in 2009 for the fastest marathon dressed as Santa.
It was also in 1843 London that saw the emergence of the first commercial Christmas cards that was invented by Sir Henry Cole and one of the original cards that he had sent off to his grandmother was recently auctioned off for £22,500.
