Christmas is the season of giving; to people you love and cherish as well as to those who need your help terribly.
After the devastation that Typhoon Yolanda has left behind, wouldn’t it be too hrash to celebrate Christmas lavishly at home while at the other end of the world people have no food to eat, no proper clothes to wear.
Someone somewhere could have 40 cans of sardines or 19 cans of corned beef in the amount you were to spend on that Christmas ham. For every can of beer that you buy this Christmas, someone could have 3 bottles of clean drinking water.
So think before your spend so lavishly this Christmas.
