Crime in the United States has been recorded since colonization. Crime rates have changed after some time, with a sharp ascent after 1963, achieving a wide top between the 1970s and mid-1990s. In expansion to the essential Uniform Wrongdoing Report known as a crime in the United States, the FBI distributes yearly reports on the status of legal requirement in the United States. As indicated by the FBI, file crime in the United States incorporates violent crime and property crime.

Tax Dogging has been a problem since time memorial and the government have always been hard on tax dodgers. It has been seen that mostly rich men (thought women are never far behind) do the dodging and even get caught for it and once under the limelight, a tax dodger is bound to pay back the amount along with a huge amount of penalty and in some cases a seizing of assets as well.

Some of the famous dodgers in history are Mark Anthony, Nicolas Cage, Dionne Warwick, Al Capone and Leona Helmsley. Leona Helmsley has also been quoted as saying to her housekeeper something to the effect that only little people pay taxes and it is below her to do so.

With old age come the dangers of isolation as well as loneliness, when children are more than happy to set up their own homes rather than stay and look after parents who have been there for them all through their lives.

Elder abuse can be defined as an act of causing harm or distress to an elderly person. Abuse can be of financial, physical, sexual as well as emotional in nature. Neglect of the elderly is also considered a kind of abuse.

It can happen anywhere: at home, at the nursing home or even in public. It has been found that 36% of the nursing homes have been abusing the elderly thus raising a violation of the laws.

Mass Atrocities And Genocides

War, politics, manipulation, threats, wealth, terror,  what ever the reason genocides and mass murders are the part of human history.

Genocide is the intended commitment to destroy a national, ethnic, racial or religious group by killing members of the group, causing majorly bodily or mentally to the members of the group, imposing methods to prevent births in the group, forcibly transferring the children of the group to another group.

Libya, Sudan, South Sudan, Dr Congo, Burma are the still fields for the genocides and many countries and the UN are intervening into the administration of the country to stop this genocide and also funding to improve the life of the citizens.

War Crimes By Us

The US military has killed, maimed and made homeless over 20 million people since Vietnam.

U.S armed forces have committed War crimes in various wars in which they’ve been engaged throughout history. Most but not all contemporary war crimes are defined by the International Criminal Court (ICC), the Geneva Conventions, and the associated laws of war under international law.

War crimes can be prosecuted through the War Crimes Act of 1996 in the United States, but the US government does not accept the jurisdiction of the ICC over its military forces.

United States violations of the laws of war falling under the rubric of jus in bello are discussed in the present article, while US violations of jus ad bellum, such as crimes against peace or wars of aggression under the Nuremberg Principles, are discussed elsewhere

Very few countries have violated as many as humanitarian laws and codes of war on such a large scale. over such an extended period. the vast political coverage of the US, the rising indifference of media coverage and alleged need of secrecy of matters of national securities have enabled one of the BLOODIEST human history ever.

Meet the Crooks Behind Identity Theft

Identity theft is a specific type of fraud, which involves stealing money or gaining other benefits by pretending to be someone else.

Identity theft can be devastating, both financially and emotionally. It can occur in many ways—from somebody using credit card details illegally to make purchases, to having a person’s entire identity assumed by another to open bank accounts, take out loans and conduct illegal business under that name.

Sophisticated information gathering tools such as malware and spyware enable perpetrators to gather personal information about targets without their knowledge, but there are measures to protect against these tools.

Identity theft is growing 15-20% a year and every one of us is a potential victim, regardless of our age, nationality, or status. Victims of identity theft suffer more than just financial loss.

Damage to their reputation and credit rating could take months and sometimes years to repair! A recent study reveals these alarming statistics: there were 12.6 million victims of identity theft in 2012 in the US, an increase of more than 1 million compared to 2011. Total financial loss attributed to identify theft in 2012 was $21 billion.

1 in 4 consumers that received a data breach notification letter became a victim of identity fraud. As criminals get more sophisticated and creative, it’s becoming more important for you to take necessary actions to protect your personal information.

Rehab Not Jail

With the recent election, a lot of the issues being put to vote involved reanalyzing drug use. Can some of them be used responsibly? Should they even be illegal? These are questions being asked nationwide, and some states have already taken a step toward decriminalizing responsible drug use.

As all these questions are being asked, many have started to question a different issue related to drugs: our nation’s response to drug related offenses. Currently, any offense related to drug trafficking, use, or even just possession can land you in the slammer for a significant portion of your life, and the question is, ‘is this the right solution for the issue?’ You can take an addict and lock him up in a box for a while and let him out, but what’s the end result? You have an addict back on the streets, only now he’s been without a ‘fix’ in a while.

Now imagine the different outcome if you were to take that drug offender, put him through a state sanctioned rehabilitation program and then put him back on the street. The chances of re-offense are proven to be significantly lower. Now, of course, this may not guarantee that every offender will be reformed, but the odds are far better and the cost is lower. Take a look at the statistics below and decide for yourself.
