According to survey laid by National Retail Federation, it was estimated that 212 million people had done shopping and spent an amount of $45 Billion on black Friday.The top states that are engaged in sharing information about black Friday through twitter are New York, California, Illinois, Texas and Florida.

It was reported the 53% of men has composed tweets about black Friday and 47% of women has shared this information. Over 2,158 tweets have conveyed message that 21% of people visit Walmart for purchasing goods.On analyzing 100,333 tweets , it was determined that 46% of shoppers buy gifts or products for themselves and 36% shoppers purchase gifts for other people. On black Friday, 18% shoppers buy computers and tablets, 17% purchase video games and music albums,16% people purchase shoes, 14% individuals buy clothes and 12% people use this day to purchase TV's.

By a recent study, it is stated that more than 69% 0f buyers said that they use internet to acquire information about various products.
