Unlike the traditional ways, employees started using newer ways to find new jobs. Just like how customers want to know about a product before purchasing, modern candidates seem to be increasingly depending on the internet to know about a job or company before applying. In a recent study, 74% of candidates found to be either actively searching new jobs, or willing to join in new opportunities. Close 70% of employees believed searching new opportunities was part of their regular routine. Over 30% of employees said they were preparing for their next job within weeks of starting a new one.
However, 79% of millennials and 67% of baby boomers actively looking for a job opportunities. While 83% of millennials found to be willing to relocate for the right job, 58% of baby boomers are interested in shifting jobs. A majority(70%) of employees depend on online search while 68% of workers use traditional networking.
