Until the 20th century, women were completely restricted to carryout either nurse job or work as a teacher as men were not interested in executing these jobs. But now the things have changed and women are equally competing with men in various fields be it armed forces or any business.
A research has proven that in present world, half of the managerial and professional positions in companies are held by women, but it’s still surprising as why women are paid only 60% of the salary in comparison to men for the same position.
A survey has projected that by the end of 2018, the total workforce of women will increase to 78 million and currently there are 9.1 million businesses in United States that run under the directions of women.
The pharmacists with a whopping salary of $99,000 per annum will lead the list of best paying jobs for women in the year 2013 and it is followed by lawyer profession where in a women lawyer can now earn $85,000 per year and the computer systems manager will earn slightly less when compared to lawyer.
Few other jobs like surgeon, chief executive, nurse practitioner, software developer will draw a handsome along with basic perks offered by the company that employs them.
Apart from getting into jobs, women are even starting their own ventures, in such aspect Thailand stands as the top country with 45.42% of women entrepreneurs and Peru, Colombia, Venezuela and Dominican Republic are few other countries with highest number of women entrepreneurs.
