
Mediation is a best exercise that is encouraged by schools in United States. It helps the children in gaining concentration and improves their ability to focus on studies.
Reports say that by the end of 2012, at least 91 schools located in 13 states are planning to implement meditation course for the students. The high school students on practicing meditation for a month had 25% less absence and 38% lesser suspension days when compared to students who don't practice meditation.
Students of Grade I – VII has improved scores in their attention skill test by practicing meditation and 8% students were noticed that their aggressive behavior was reduced. Students on practicing focused meditation has committed less rule infractions.
