'Open Sesame ', might have been the magical phrase that opened the mouth of the cave that held the thieves' treasure but in reality as well sesame is a magical seed that is considered to be the oldest oil crop known to humanity which was domesticated by humans over 3000 years ago.
It is magical in the sense that not only is it drought-tolerant and has the ability to be grown at times when other crops fail, it also has the highest oil contents as compared to other oil crop seeds.
