As well know, Apple, giant of technology constantly captures the world's attention with its innovative products. At the same time, it is the largest holder of revenues. However, Apple's current boom is attributed to its 'post-PC' devices, the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. Those products, mainly iPads and iPhones, contribute 75% of its total revenues from the last four years. Both iPhone and iPads are available in 100 countries and on 230 wireless carriers. About 30 per cent of US smartphone user have iPhone devices.
Around 67 million iPads were sold so far. Around 600,000 apps can be found on the app store, out of which 18% of apps are games, and 895 new apps are added each day. While over 25 billion apps are downloaded for every day, 47% of apps are free of cost. 26% of apps are sold for $99 and 11% of apps for $1.99, 30% of sales revenue goes to Apple.
There are 125 million iCloud customers. Over 30,000 employees serve for Apple. For a week, Apple store are visited by around 18,000 visitors. The average sales of a store per annum is $50 million. Currently there are 363 Apple stores located in 13 countries. Chines contribute 20% of Apple's sales, which is accounted for $7.9 billion revenue per annum.
