This infographic from HighRises.com aimed to find out which of the country’s 50 most populous cities are doing the most to become eco-friendly. The graphic compared six key sustainability metrics, from solar PV installed per capita to population density, in order to determine which U.S. city can count itself as the most environmentally friendly.
San Diego came out on top as the greenest city in America, securing an A+ rating. The city’s commitment to achieving 100% renewable energy by 2035 makes it an exemplary leader in sustainability.
