Soft costs are the biggest barriers in the unleashing of the solar revolution in the United States. It has been found that the average cost of solar panels in the US is much higher than in Germany where they cost almost half of what they would cost in the US.
Also, red tape regulations in the Us are responsible for pushing the cost still higher with different rules and regulation in all the 50 states of the country.
It has also been noted that where in Germany, the entire installation process of a solar panel for solar energy on one’s rooftop would take nothing more than 7.5 hours red tape and other formalities push the same process to be completed in nothing less than 75 hours in the US.
