The Thomson Reuters Foundation did a gender poll on the 21 Arab league countries and came up with a very sad picture that gives out the reality on the existence (or rather the non-existence) of Women’s Rights in these Arabian countries.
The poll is based on six parameters that specifically deals with violence against women, reproductive rights, women in the family, women in society, women in politics and lastly women in economics.
Egypt seems to be give the worst treatment to its women while Comoros is found to treat its women better than all the rest of the 21 countries in the Arab League.
