The most widely recognized companies that offer video game consoles have recently unveiled successors to their existing game consoles. After releasing the Xbox 360 gaming console in 2005, Microsoft has now launched its successor gaming console and it will referred as Xbox One.
Sony to stay in competition with the Microsoft’s latest gaming console, it has launched a next generation gaming console called PlayStation 4. Earlier model Play Station 3 was unveiled by Sony seven years ago.
To battle with Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One, Nintendo has launched Wii U, an eight generation video game console and it is considered as the successor to the Nintendo’s existing Wii gaming console.
In terms of price, Xbox One can be grabbed for $499 and the Sony’s PS4 is bit cheaper when compared to Xbox One and it is available for $399. Of the three leading video game consoles, the Nintendo’s Wii U gaming console can be availed for a cheaper price, the basic version of console costs around $299 while its deluxe package will cost the video gamers around $349.
When it comes to hardware specifications, the Xbox One and PS4 share similar kind of octa processors and the processing speed pertaining to these gaming consoles is 1.6GHz. The Nintendo’s advanced gaming console, Wii U comes with a tri-core processor and its processor’s speed is 1.24GHz.
With the simpler graphics card and faster memory storage, the PS4 stands top as a stronger video gaming console when compared to Xbox One and Wii U.
