Dogs are considered man's best friends. But very few people know that dogs can babysit and be nannies for children of his human companions. We obviously know that dogs cannot speak but they can perform most of the tasks a nanny would perform without complaining or without asking for compensation.
Dogs are naturally adept at taking care of babies. They protect babies from danger or strangers, make they giggle uncontrollably, fetch or bring toys to baby, offer free crawling lessons, perform duties of a lifeguard by a pool, give piggyback rides, offer company to baby when baby is alone, join baby for a nap time, pick up crumbs that baby drops all over the house, listen to baby without being judgmental and make babies happy just by being around.
No other pet can do all this for your child or take place of for your dog. Canines are unique when it comes to nurturing babies and have mastered the art of babysitting over thousands of years of being domestic pets.
