Namibia, which derives its name from the Nambi desert , has been under the rule of colonizers since the later part of the 1800's when the German brought them under their rule and it was only after the United Nation intervention that it got its independence in 1990 from South Africa who had been occupying it from 1915.
Nicknamed the 'Gem of Africa ', Namibia is unexplored territory in terms of natural history and a hub of adventure. It boosts of being home to the largest single piece meteor to be found any where on Earth and also to the world's largest underground lake that can be found in its very mysterious, Dragon's Breath Cave.
