The Zac Brown Band has been making a name for themselves not just in the music industry but with foodies everywhere. The band is known for their love of music and Southern cooking and the way in which they integrate food into their songs and fan experiences.
This story begins at Zac’s Place – Zac Brown’s restaurant. It was there that he served up Southern gourmet cuisine by day and played in the band by night. The restaurant served as a concert venue for the band and was later sold to support the band’s aspirations to tour full time. Once ZBB hit the road, the rest became history.
The band continued to grow in popularity and share their love of food with the world. It wasn't until they decided they wanted to better take care of fans that the “Eat and Greet” concept was born. It’s best described in this quote, “ “It started off as a simple way to reduce the awkwardness which arises at a typical rock band ‘meet and greet’ and has blossomed into the largest traveling display of Southern hospitality known to man.”
The success of the Eat and Greet has grown into the Southern Ground Music and Food Festival which is a massive two day event featuring ZBB, special music guests, culinary experts, and food trucks.
One thing's for sure - Zac Brown Band always ensures a good time coupled with great music and delicious food.
