With global warming affecting the movement of water in the atmosphere, resulting in lesser evapotranspiration i.e evaporation and transpiration of water from the land and water surfaces, many areas around the world are suffering from increases droughts that have brought life to a stifling halt.
The United States of America has been facing drier than ever weather this year with more than two-thirds of the country going through some stage of drought.
US saw the most devastating of all droughts in the decade of 1930s which has been nicknamed as the 'Dust Bowl', hitting the mid-western and southern plains with severe drought that dried up the land to such an extent that dust from the overpowered and overglazed areas began to blow resulting in an increase in the number of dust storms as well.
