Let’s take a look at some of the tallest dinosaurs to have lived on the face of the earth.
The Seismosaurus was the tallest ever dinosaur to have lived on earth and was 84 feet in height. It was from North America and was discovered by Gillette. The second tallest dinosaur in the world was Argentinosaurus from Argentina and this dinosaur was 70 feet in height.
The Brachiosaurus takes the 3rd place in this list with a height of 50 feet while the Andesaurus which was 40 feet tall takes the 4th position on the list of the top 10 tallest dinosaurs in the world. Barosaurus was also 40 feet tall and was the 5th tallest of all the dinosaurs.
On the 6th place is the Bothriospondylus which was 35 feet in height and was discovered by Richard Owen. With a height of 35 feet, Haplocanthosaurus takes the 7th position on this list while Mamenchisaurus which had the same height has been placed at the 8th position. This one was discovered by C.C. Young.
The 9th tallest dinosaur in the world was Diplodocus which was 30 feet tall whereas the 10th tallest of the dinosaurs was Mamenchisaurus of Asia which was discovered by C.C. Young.
