Tick bite can turn in to danger if the tick is not removed in 24 hours after the bite. Usually ticks jump from trees and certain areas of which some ticks are blind and they don't even know the area where they are jumping. The most common disease that humans can get attacked with tick bite is “Lime's disease”.
Few tick borne diseases reported in United States are Tularemia, Mountain spotted fever, Southern tick associate rash illness, Babesiosis, Tick borne relapsing fever, 364D Rickettsiosis and Anaplasmosis etc.
Within 24 hours of tick attachment, pathogens present in the tick will not be transmitted. It is suggested that victim must be tested for infections to ensure that he/she is free from tickborne disease.
Steps to remove tick from body:
get needle nose tweezers and make sure to clean the tick bite area.
Blunt type tweezers must be avoided as they can increase the risk of germs penetration in to bite.
using tweezers, grab the tick straight and directly if possible.
slowly pullout the tick by preventing tick breakage.
