Today, the internet users rely immensely on web browsers. There are multiple browsers available for the users. The most popular browsers are Safari, Internet Explorer, Fire Fox and Chrome, etc. Analysts consider the usage shares in order to determine the top browser.
The data shows the usage of Internet Explorer has been gradually decreasing in the last three years. In 2008, IE has 67.92% of usage shares, but in the following the shares plummeted drastically. Mainly in the 2011 the usage share dropped down by 43.26%. Similarly, the other prominent browser Firefox saw growth and decline in its journey.
However, recently launched browsers: Chrome and Safari seem to have attracted many users. Chrome witnessed a whooping growth in the last three years. Like wise, Safari, Apple's browser has been experiencing gradual increase. In summary, Google's Chrome seems to be leading the browsers. The success of Chrome can be attributed to its speedy connectivity and user friendly features like search on-the-go.
