With the advent of new technologies, we are seeing a revolution in the way industries are growing and in the process exterminating others. While healthcare service and construction industry are rated as high growth sectors in the coming times, postal services and print media are predicted to perish.
Among other growing sectors include educational services, management and consultancy services, scientific and technical services and software publishing rank high. The sectors that are expected to stagnate or become extinct include agro-chemical manufacturing, textile and apparel industries.
Next in line is leather and related manufacturing industries, followed by mining and metal manufacturing sector. Petroleum and coal related industries are under threat due to the depleting petroleum sources across the globe. Alternate sources of energy will take prime positioning in the energy sector. Similarly all printing and postal activity will be limited to Federal enterprises as the wireless technology takes charge of news and publishing activities and so also mail.
Even electrical equipment manufacturing, computer peripheral manufacturing and communication equipment manufacturing industries will also see a downward trend. As more sophisticated ways of manufacturing and less labor intensive processes arrive some of the industries will see a sea change in hiring.
