One of the smallest reptile measures just 0.77 centimeters and is known as paedophryne Amauensis belonging to the Microhylidae family. The next in the smallest reptiles in the world category is called Sphaerodactylus measuring 1.6 centimeters similar to the third kind of reptile in size known as Sphaerodactylus Ariasae.
The next smallest reptile is known as Virgin Islands Dwarf Sphaero measuring about 1.6 centimeters and belonging to the Gekkonidae. After this comes the Cape Dwarf Chameleon which measures just 2 centimeters and belongs to the Chamaeleonidae family.
The next in the smallest reptiles is the Kitti’s hog-nosed Bat measuring anywhere between 2.9 to 3.3 centimeters in size. After this one can see the most beautiful Bee Hummingbird measuring between 5-6 centimeters belonging to the Trochilidae family.
The next shortest reptile is known as the speckled padloper measuring about 6 centimeters in length. The next reptile is known as the Barbados Threadsnake measuring about 10 centimeters in length. The last shortest reptile is the Cuvier’s Dwarf Caiman which is 1.2 centimeters in length and belonging to the family of Alligatoridae.
