Samsung Note II and Micromax Canvas 2 are the two most popular mobile phones these days. Here’s a look at a comparison between the two:
Samsung Note II is a 5.5 inch bar shaped device with a super AMOLED capacitive display that can offer a resolution count of 720x1280 pixels whereas Canvas 2 is a handset which comes with a 5 inch IPS LCD capacitive display offering 480x854 pixels of resolution count.
Note II is powered by a Quad-core 1.6 GHz processor with 2 GB RAM whereas Micromax Canvas 2 is powered by a dual core 1 GHz processor with a 512 MB RAM. Both devices are fitted in with 8 MP cameras on the rear end but the video resolution of Note II is better than that of Canvas 2.
Samsung Note II sports a 1.9 MP front facing camera whereas Micromax Canvas 2 sports a 0.3 MP front facing camera for video chatting and calling. While Canvas 2 supports dual SIM facility, Note II does not have this feature. Samsung Note II is available in two colours: titanium gray and marble white whereas Note II is also available in two colours: Black and white.
Both the handsets offer the same connectivity options but Canvas 2 does not support 4G connectivity facility. A 3100 mAh battery powers Samsung Note II whereas Micromax Canvas 2 is powered by a 2000 mAh battery. In terms of weight, Note II is heavier than Micromax Canvas 2. Overall, Note II definitely seems like a better device to own.
