The process of learning that goes throughout one’s lifetime, actually starts from home and our parents and other family members are always our first teachers, from who we learn the basics of everything.
Which is why, when parents volunteer at their children’s school, it not only helps share the teacher's burden, it also helps the parent to know better the learning ability of their child as well as how he/she might help the other kids who might be falling back or might not be that good in a certain subject.
85% of the parents and 87% of the teachers feel that having a parent in the classroom means that they could connect better with their wards as well as help and encourage them to give their best. Volunteering has known to help parents as well as teachers overcome the various hurdles that one might face during the process of teaching/learning.
