With all the hullabaloo going on related to gun control in the US, it is high time that people who own firearms, know under which law they are protected as well as prohibited because each state in the US have their own laws related to the matter.
44 states in the US have constitutional provisions protecting the right to keep and bear arms. Where in Arizona, Wyoming and Alaska, there is no restriction for individuals to carry concealed firearms, in Hawaii and California, the government has complete discretion over the issuance of carry permits.
In Alaska, the state recognizes all valid carry permits issued by any state but in California , the state does not recognize carry permits issued by other states and only its own.
