Carrying around a certain amount of stress is an unfortunate fact of life for many adults in the modern world. However, when stress reaches a tipping point, it can negatively affect your health, life, work and overall happiness. There are a number of benefits of effectively managing your stress, but a recent study shows that less than 30 percent of people ages 18 to 29 feel that they keep their stress under control.
One of the first steps toward getting stress level under control is identifying exactly what is causing your stress to balloon. The majority of people identify work and money as common sources of stress. Other sources include family responsibilities and relationships. Of course, for most people stress is the result of a combination of these factors.
