According to a survey, today’s IT job scenario across the globe has more job vacancies than the number of skilled people to fill them. The salary levels of IT people has remained on the rise despite the Great Recession.
Among the hottest jobs are mobile application development profiles. The median salaries in IT jobs ranged from $ 90K for starters to $ 116K for managers. Cloud computing is the fastest growing domain with more than 1.7 million jobs going unfilled in 2012.
The top slot in the IT job market is taken by mobile application development with an average salary of $94K. Software developers draw an average salary of $90K. Game designers come third with average salaries of $80 K. And in each of these domains there are more than 270 K million new jobs available. But when you look at just the average salary grossed in each domain it is the technology manager who gets the maximum salary at $111 K average per annum.
Another niche in IT jobs is the iPhone developer where UK pays the highest at $105K followed closely by Australia and USA at $98K and $94K respectively. The developing countries such a India, Pakistan and Philippines pay the least $18K, $13K and $12K.
