Have you ever thought what happens when you report something on Facebook? Here have a look at it. When one reports something, the Facebook team analyzes it for what it is.
There are four user operation teams where the reports are sent after analyzing :
- Safety Team
- Hate and Harassment Team
- Abusive Content Team
- Access team
If the content or picture is violent or harmful in nature, then the internet Safety Team takes care of it and sometimes law enforcement gets involved. If the content is abusive, is a spam, or sexually explicit then the Abusive Content Team takes care of it by sending warning to the reporter or disabling them.
The Hate and Harassment Team as the name suggests takes care of those reports which portray hate towards specific sections or are of harassing nature to somebody. Sometimes even the reporter can appeal a decision if his/her account is disabled or a feature blocked.
