China is a scenic place with many beautiful landscapes and rivers apart from the Great Wall of China. But being in China without knowing the national holidays can be quite troublesome and spoil the whole idea of vacation. Some of the declared holidays in China are enlisted as under:-
The holidays in China begin in January with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd being celebrated as the New Year’s Day. Then comes continuous holidays from 9th February to 15th February on account of the celebration of “The Spring Festival” of the Chinese Lunar New year Eve. Similarly even in the month of April also there are continuous holidays from April 04th to April 6th due to the Qing Ming Festivals which is also known as the Tomb Sweeping Festival.
Other two days of holidays in the month of April are the 29th and the 30th which continue till the 1st of May are declared national holidays on account of Labor Day. Next to May 1st holidays start in the month of June from 10th to the 12th celebrated as Dragon Boat Festival. Then comes the Mid Autumn Festival celebrated three in the month of September from 19th to 21st.
the last set of holidays come in October month starting from October 1st to October 7th declared as the National Day.
